Founded over 60 years ago as the first systems engineering department in the United States, the Department of Systems and Industrial Engineering instills in our students the tools needed to develop creative and technical skill; closely monitor the design process; and consider component and societal interaction when building complex systems. Program assignments and format vary by course, but can include essays, projects, research, and the ability to view live or recorded lectures. All credits earned in the online Graduate Certificate in Systems Engineering can be applied to the master’s program.
