Established in 1885, the Department of Mining and Geological Engineering has a rich history in mining education. We welcome students with a bachelor’s degree from any discipline and offer prerequisite courses along with our varied programmatic course options, which include mineral economics, information technology, programming, and much more. You’ll benefit from personalized attention in small classes taught by our industry-leading faculty. Credits earned in any of the four online certificate programs can be applied to the master’s.
