The concerns addressed every day by bold, forward-thinking engineers affect people all over the world. This is why, as a globally recognized leader in engineering education, the University of Arizona has dedicated itself to accommodating students seeking to enhance their skills from outside the United States.
An online format provides unique opportunities to international students, allowing unparalleled access to courses that closely follow on-campus lectures and presentations — sometimes even recorded sessions that were given in-class that very same day. This means that students don’t have to relocate, but still benefit from our comprehensive curriculum and interaction with our leading, expert faculty.
If your native language is not English, you’ll also need to demonstrate adequate English proficiency to participate in the program. The following assessments and scores can be used to satisfy this requirement:
Note: Please check the International Graduate Admissions Requirements page to verify English proficiency and other country-specific requirements. International students are also advised to review the transcript requirements page for further guidelines.
Those applying from countries outside the US should also note that, since the program is delivered online and does not require students complete coursework on-campus, the University of Arizona cannot issue a student visa to online graduate students.
