Distance Learning at UA

Innovation has been a critical part of our academic philosophy at the University of Arizona since the very beginning. In keeping with that tradition, we’re proud to offer online programs that deliver focused, practical, modern education in a virtual format, spreading the mission of the UA to students across the nation, even across the world. Online learning allows students to interact with a diverse community of dedicated peers, connecting them to people and perspectives that might have otherwise remained unknown.

The learning materials provided through our online platform are diverse, dynamic, and engaging. Every piece of learning content is shaped by expert faculty and based on our excellent on-campus programs. In fact, as an online student, you’ll have access to lectures and presentations that were recorded live during a relevant on-campus class session, allowing you to attend class without ever stepping foot in a classroom.

We want to ensure that every online student feels like a valuable part of our student body, which is why we offer several dedicated support services to distance learners.

» Career Services
Both students and alumni can take advantage of our Career Services office as well as Wildcat Joblink. Joblink provides the UA’s student body with access to a number of internships and full-time positions specifically targeted to University of Arizona students.

» Online Library
As an online student, you’ll have complete access to numerous informational databases and resources through our online library service.

» 24/7 IT Support
If you ever run into any technical issues over the course of your online learning experience, our IT helpdesk is always available.

» Online Learning Platform – Desire2Learn
This is where online students login to their online classroom, access assignments, and complete their courses.
